The Spring Ridge Trail at Windy Hill is a crown jewel of our local open spaces, offering some of the most iconic views in the Peninsula.
However, as many regular visitors have noticed, the trail is in need of significant attention and long-term maintenance to remain the safe, accessible resource we all love.
On March 4th, the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen) Board of Directors will meet to discuss regional priorities. We are inviting our community to reach out to the Board to help ensure that the restoration of Spring Ridge remains a high priority for the District this year.
Why Your Voice Matters: The staff at Midpen work hard to manage vast amounts of land. By sharing our first-hand experiences on the Spring Ridge Trail, we can help the Board understand exactly where maintenance is most urgent.
How to Take Action (As Highlighted in the Video):

- 📩 Send a Respectful Email before March 1: The board needs comments at least 48 hours before the meeting on March 4th. Use this form to submit your comment.
- Be a Voice for the Trail: Share your favorite memories of Windy Hill and politely ask the Board to prioritize the “Spring Ridge Restoration Project” in their upcoming budget and schedule.
- 🗣️ Attend in person: If you can, attend the meeting on March 4th and speak up for our trails. March 4th, 9:30am, MidPen Headquarters, 5050 El Camino Real, Los Altos
